Fantasy Football: 5 Things We Got Right and 5 Things We Got Wrong This NFL Season.

By: Jared Leonard | @JaredLeonard77

The Fantasy Football Season is officially over and we hope that many of you had success this season in your leagues. With Super Bowl Sunday days away, let’s take a look back at some of our preseason projections and determine what we got right and what we got wrong. So, let’s look at the 5 things we hit on and 5 things we missed on.

Five things we got right:

Pat Mahomes- Now, we didn’t think Mahomes would be the number one QB in fantasy this season, but we did tell you that with his talents he could be a top 10 Qb and he was.

Bears Defense- After the Kahlil Mack trade, we told you the Bears would be a top 10 defense and they didn’t disappoint.

Andrew Luck- We told you to draft him as QB 1 and he lived up to expectations.

Joe Mixon- We predicted Mixon would be an RB 1 this season and was an absolute stud and the foundation of that Bengals offense.

OJ Howard- He was a top 10 TE until he got hurt. Was on pace for a career year and we told you he would have a bounce back season.

Five things we got wrong:

Christian McCaffrey- We should have been higher on McCaffrey. He is an absolute stud and should be drafted as a top 3 RB next season.

Matt Stafford- Had a down season and the Lions offense has a lot of work to do this off season if Stafford is going to be considered a viable starting fantasy QB for next season.

David Johnson- A terrible o-line and awful scheme really hurt DJ this season. We’ll see what improvements are made along the o-line and what type of scheme Kingsbury will bring to Arizona.

Chris Hogan- Hogan was a non factor in the Patriots offense this season and produced little to no value for fantasy owners.

Royce Freeman- Got out played be an undrafted free agent and was a complete bust.
