Daily Fantasy: Baseball Line Up of the Day

Jake Bauers has a great match up tonight against Andrew Cashner.

I really like the match ups tonight. With that said, here’s how I spent my $50,000 on Draft Kings.

P: Chris Archer, Rays at Orioles ($9,500): Archer struck out 13 in his last start against the Marlins. He didn’t factor in the decision but he was dominate despite that. The match up tonight against the Orioles sets up for another opportunity for Archer to be dominant. He is the best starting pitching value tonight.

P. Marcus Stroman, Blue Jays at White Sox: Stroman struck seven Orioles over seven innings in his last start. The White Sox line up is prone to striking out a lot as well, making Stroman a good start tonight.

C: Tucker Barnhart, Reds vs. Phillies ($3,400): Barnhart is a good play at home especially against a pitcher like Nick Pivetta who struggles with his command.

1B: Jake Bauers , Rays at Orioles, ($4,300): A lefty swing like Bauers plays well at Camden Yards. Especially against a pitcher like Andrew Cashner.

2B: Dee Gordon, Mariners at Angels ($3,700): I don’t like the match up versus Andrew Heaney but I can see Gordon bunting a couple of times, getting on base, advancing and swiping a bag or two.

3B: Pablo Sandoval, Giants vs. Brewers ($3,300): With Brandon Belt out, Sandoval should get regular at bats and take advantage of them against a pitcher like Chase Anderson.

SS: Nick Ahmed, D-Backs at Padres ($3,200): Playing at Petco hurts Ahmed’s value a little but the match up against Luis Perdomo makes up for it.

OF: Rhys Hoskins, Phillies at Reds ($4,800): Hoskins as a right handed hitter with power to all fields is a must play at Great American Ballpark.

OF: Giancarlo Stanton, Yankees vs. Royals ($4,600): Stanton is “only” averaging 8.9 points per game in DFS. That’s great. So is a match up against Royals starter Brad Keller. Stanton is a no brainer play tonight.

OF: J.D Martinez, Red Sox vs. Twins ($5,600): You just cant go wrong with J.D at home. Especially against Lance Lynn, who has struggled with his command this season.
