Aaron Nola faces a tough Nationals line up tonight.
It’s been a few days since I have shared a daily line up. I’m going with a classic line up tonight in the 7:05 time slot. Here is how I spent my $50,000 on Draft Kings.
P: Brian Johnson, Red Sox vs. Angels ($5,500): I’m banking on the fact that the Red Sox have owned the Angels this season. That and Johnson was cheap.
P: Aaron Nola, Phillies vs. Nationals ($12,100): Nola hasn’t been great of late and this match up against the Nationals is risky but I’m buying potential here.
C: Brian McCann, Astros at Rays ($3,000): McCann figures to start tonight after sitting out on Monday and Wednesday. I went cheap at catcher hoping to catch lightning in the bottle against Ryne Stanek of the Rays.
1B: C.J Cron, Rays vs. Astros ($4,000): Cron has comeback to earth of late but at this price against Lance McCullers, I’ll take him. McCullers is 0-2 in his career at Tampa so I’m hoping the Rays continue to have success against him.
2B: Ian Kinsler, Angels at Red Sox ($3,800): Kinsler is healthy and finally hitting at the level we’re accustomed to. The match up against Brian Johnson is appealing.
3B: Maikel Franco, Phillies vs. Nationals ($3,500): Given Franco’s production at home, he’s a steal at $3,500. Especially because he’s facing Tanner Roark.
SS: Wily Adames, Rays vs. Astros ($3,200): The young shortstop has been impressive at the plate and in the field.
OF: Rhys Hoskins, Phillies vs. Nationals ($4,900): Hoskins is starting to heat up. He had a great series at the plate against the Yankees and will look to continue his hot hitting against the Nationals this weekend.
OF: Juan Soto, Nationals at Phillies ($4,500): Soto is a cross category producer who is a terrific play in DFS.
OF: Christian Yelich, Brewers at Reds ($5,200): Yelich is finally settling in with the Brewers. A visit to the best hitter park in baseball against a weak starting rotation should allow Yelich to continue to hit the ball well.
